Hey there! My name is Jose Govea, and I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico—but Oxnard, California has been home since I was just a year and a half old. Family has always been a huge part of my life. As the oldest sibling, I’ve seen firsthand the value of perseverance and adaptability—traits instilled in me by my amazing parents. Both incredibly strong, loving, and hardworking, they did everything to make sure our family never went without, and for that, I’m forever grateful.
Over the years, I’ve taken on many roles across different industries, from hands-on work in construction and home renovation to leadership positions in fast-paced environments. I've operated tow trucks, worked in excavation, maintained pools, worked in commercial fishing, and handled sales. Along the way, I’ve also stepped into managerial roles, learning how to lead, strategize, and keep things running smoothly. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: my ability to adapt, learn, and improve with every new challenge.
I’m not one to sit still—I thrive on being active, working with my hands, and pushing myself to new limits.
